The foremost thing you need to do is to press the “Q” key while playing “GMod” to open the main “GMod” menu. The following are those steps you need to take to select the model and set it as your player’s model. 
Now, play the game and select the model that you just placed in the “GMOD” folder from the in-game menu. Then place the contents of the downloaded file in the “models” folder and copy the contents of the “Addons” folder into the “GMOD,” replacing any files with the same label.
